Fabulous Daffodil Delight Thank You

Another quick, easy, and fabulous thank you card.

I started with Daffodil Delight, added Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini Catalog along with a touch of Tangerine Tango punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch and 3/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon.

The Fun Flower really finishes the card along with the sentiment from Because I Care (Hostess Level 1).

Tip: Use your 5 Petal Punch for the smallest layer to make a slightly smaller flower with three layers.

Way To Go Grad

Need a graduation card? While the stamp set is retired, it is now available as a Digital Download.  I borrowed the set from my stampin' sis and made this card the 'old fashioned way'  :-) but it would be so easy to make in My Digital Studio.

And, it could be girly or masculine.

I needed a masculine card and was astonished when Concord Crush fit the bill for the school's colors.  I have to admit Concord Crush and Poppy Parade are among the least used colors in my studio!

I stamped "grad" in Jet Black StazOn ink on Whipser White and then stamped the hat in Concord Crush on Concord Crush card stock, cut it out and then layered it with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Then, I added the sentiment to the inside with just a bit of Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch to offset the sentiment.

And, did you notice the ribbon?  A little trick is to tie it in a knot first, then adhered to the card.  A good tip for 'guy cards'.

Strawberry Trio Set for CPC

 

What do you think?  I love these stawberries and wanted to incorporate them into a fun summer project.  I decided to use them as the theme for my Craft Project Central Project but I wanted something 'extra' to go along with the card.

Countryside Thank You

And the theme continues :-)

I'm starting to feel a little bit better today.  I'm hoping to get to some new projects or at least  a card or two today.

I thought this turned out pretty cute. I used Country Morning (an old hostess set) and colored the image with Stampin' Write markers.  Then, I framed the image with Peach Parfait dotted scallop ribbon and layered it on Daffodil Delight cut with the Scallop Squares Duo die.

Tip: I used the Mat Pack to punch the holes along the scallop edges.

Final touches included 3/8" Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon with matching flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack embellished with Pearls.  Fun, easy and cute.

Thank You Silhouette

Notice a theme?  There's just something so springy about Peach Parfait.  Yes, I'm still using up some 'old' supplies...

I started with a Peach Parfait base, embossed it with the Tulip Frames embossing folder, layered some Pawsitively Prints Designer Series Paper in the frame, and then added the stamped image from Silhouette Sentiements (Hostess Level 1) that I inked with Stampin' Write markers and matted with the Scalloped Rectangle Clearlits die.

A couple of dimensionals, ribbon, and Tiny Tag finishes it off.

Hydrangea Thank You

I've been feeling a little under the weather this week and although I've been busy meeting some deadlines, I thought it would be nice spend a little time revisiting some old favorites with some new combinations.  And, I need to replenish my card supply.

While I'm recovering from whatever bug I caught, I have a couple of thank you cards to show you over the next couple of days.

I wanted to keep the card fairly simple - easiser to mail that way - and sse some old supplies (the new catalog will be here before we know it) and pair some new colors too.

I started with Peach Parfait (one of the current In-Colors), layered So Saffron, and added a bit of Pawsitively Prints Designer Series Prints (DSP) that is in the Clearance Rack right now and used Stampin' Write Markers to color the hydrangea and sentiment.

The button is from the Button Latte set.  I think they are sold out but be sure to check the Clearance Rack as they are quite handy.

Quick Paisley Petals Thank You

I can't seem to get enough of this paper or these flowers.  Too fun. I needed a quick thank you card for a friend so I put this together (in about 5 minutes).  Although I used Bravo Burgundy for the scallop edges and ribbon, I think it looks fine with a cherry cobbler flower.

I decided to put the sentiment on the inside.  I used Four Frames with the sentiment from Sillhouette Sentiments (Hostess Level 1).  (I should really use that set more often.)

Paper: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Paisley Petals, Bravo Burgundy & Whiser White

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy & Early Espresso
